One Book One School
Westgate kicked of the One Book One School Program this morning at the Dr. Seuss breakfast. Every student received their own copy of the book The World According to Humphrey. Each week the students will read a chapter of the book at home andádo activities with their families. First grade teacher Mr. Campbell drew a poster of Humphrey for all the students to sign as way to show they will participate in the program.
Dr. Seuss Breakfast
The Dr. Seuss breakfast was a big success. Thank you to Mrs. Fayman for organizing the breakfast again this year! The students and their families enjoyed a delicious breakfast of green eggs and ham. Then they went to the classrooms for some fun literacy activities.
